New Delhi: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Subhash Chopra on Thursday said that today, India's first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, has stepped up the path of self-sufficiency thanks to the basic work that the country has done for its development. I have succeeded.
Chopra was speaking at a program held on the occasion of the 130th birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in Rajiv Bhavan in the state office. He also paid homage to Nehru's image.
Speaking on the occasion, Subhash Chopra said that Nehru did not only give freedom to the country but after independence, he formulated a policy of development of the country which helped strengthen our country with education, poverty, industrial development as well as relations with foreign countries. Chopra said that we can move forward in the development of the Congress Party and the country by taking commitment from Nehru's great personality and his sacrifice and deeds. Subhash Chopra said that Nehru's policy has a major role in speeding up the development of the country so the nation will always look to him with appreciation.
